<p>I'm currently a junior in high school from California, and I'd like to know how likely I am for these schools:
University of Michigan (my #1, worried about being OOS)
UC Davis
Boston University
Univ. of Minnesota Twin Cities</p>
<p>(btw, I want to be a teacher)
Unweighted GPA: 3.8
weighted: currently 3.93, but will go up to about 4.1
I'd estimate top 10 or 15% for class rank
1820 on the PSAT (I wanna get this to at least 1900), havent taken the actual SAT or ACT yet...</p>

<p>*I play flute, I'm one of 4 flutes in highest level orchestra in school (went from lowest freshman year to highest)
*Pit orchestra for school musical in soph, junior, and will be senior year, too - 1st flute this year and will be next year too
*Music Mentoring - helping 4th-5th graders start playing flute, once a week
*Play at senior homes around christmastime with a flute group
*CMEA festival - earned superior rating every year since 6th grade, once went to state and received a silver award
*I taught flute to my neighbor last year, too, but not anymore
*I also do dance once a week haha. not very impressive x)
*I've won 3 school math awards (for having an A+ in math, haha)
*I babysit fairly often, if that counts x)
*I've helped paint sets for the youth play
*Volunteered at the Save the Music festival for 3 years</p>
<p>Also, this summer, I have two options:
1) internship at Riverbed (huge computer company haha), and volunteering as a junior counselor at an overnight camp for 2-4 weeks
2) job at camp galileo summer camp for about 6-8 weeks, along with volunteering at the overnight camp for 2-4 weeks
and I'm not sure which one looks better x)</p>
<p>Basically, I'm worried about extracurricular stuff x) chance me? :)</p>
