I’m a junior, and I kinda wanted to know if I’m reaching too far here.
I go to a specialized, selective program for medicine within a public school, but I want a career in finance.
GPA: 3.68 on a 4.0 scale, unweighted
Class rank: at the tenth percentile
^These have been improving, by the way. I hope to get to around the 7th ish? percentile by the end of this year
SAT I: 2390, 1600 CR+M
SAT II: 800 Math II, 750 Bio M, 760 Chem, taking Physics and History this year I think
PSAT: 235, 75 in math
AP: 5 on Stat and Psych (self-studied) and 4 on Bio and Chem
ECs:
Marching band and concert band since freshman year, jazz band (select) junior (expecting a leadership position next year)
Model UN since freshman year (Best Country Award)
NJ Youth and Government freshman and junior year
Tennis team from sophomore year, got my varsity letter soph year too
Spanish Honor Society since soph
Tech Student Association
National History Day Club
Volunteered through the hospital, my temple, and the park system, around 90 hours so far but expecting to get higher
I also went to a biology seminar at CMU and a two-week forensics camp at George Mason, not sure if those are really relevant
I know these aren’t super competitive, but let me know where to improve. Thanks!
