Chances please?

Hey can anyone chance me for emory? I have no idea whether I want to pursue law, biz, or med (leaning towards either law or biz currently, but I have a lot of med ECs, is that bad? Should I maybe...lie and say that I might do premed, even though thats a possibility, and then later change my mind or what?), but I do know that I will major in a science subject and maybe minor in econ or something business related.

demographics:

(On top of that, our graduating class is rumored to be the best class of all time, and we were ranked 704 by newsweek putting us in the top 2.5% of all high schools or something like that!! This was before our class started taking APs, so that number will probably raise even more by next year because our class is that good)

Why would you?

I'm pretty sure that saying you're pre-med wouldn't help your chances. If anything, it would hurt them because Emory already has plenty of hopeful doctors. Being different is generally good. Then again, if you can communicate a general interest in medicine via your essays, courses, and ECS -- then put down pre-med.

I would just tell the truth.

yeah thats why I'm saying should I maybe put down pre-med or pre-dent because I have a ton of ECs and a lot of my courses are medically related. But I dunno, we'll see. First I'd like to see whether or not I even have a chance of getting in, and thus whether its worth applying here. So please chance me guys!

bump!!!!!!!!!!

You seem to have a good chance...not a lock, but still a good chance. Maybe you could try taking the SATs or ACTs again to improve your shot.

And I wouldn't lie about anything...they'll see focus in your ECs and what you put as intended major won't really take away from that.
