<p>My daughter is put in waitlist, she has over 3.90 GPA and ACT31, lots of awards.Does she have chance to get in?</p>
<p>Gosh, my D is a senior this fall, and I had no idea ND was that tough to get into!!!<br>
Mine has about no ECs at all–just band. (she has spent umpteen hours on fanfiction.com critiquing other people’s story endings and writing her own story endings–she is going to have to use that as an EC or volunteer work!) Her GPA is 3.6 now (taking the hardest classes, but zero APs), and she’s at a ‘elite public high school’ so ranked in USNWR, and she so far has 2170 SAT and 30 ACT, but she is retaking both. She is also going to be a Natl Merit Finalist, if that makes any difference, which I am doubting.<br>
This is just dismal!!!</p>
<p>My daughter got off waitlist at Notre Dame. We are so happy for her.</p>
