chances, please

This is also on the chances board, but you are the experts! Just wondering if ND could be a possibility:

-currently a junior, small private school.
-GPA 90/100 UW, school does not rank
-have taken all honors and AP classes available
-SAT 1520/1600
-dedicated EC's with some local and state level awards
-200 service hours for Catholic church
-recommendations and essay should be good
-legacy

Your child is most definitely in.

I'm glad he/she isn't applying this year against me.

In for sure IMO

Stress stellar essays--as Irish has said on another thread, ND does notice and pay attention to essays! And, I believe him!!!

Thank you for your replies. She'll be encouraged.
So you think other factors can compensate for the lower (for this board) GPA?

I wouldn't say definitely in by any stretch, but I do think your daughter has a very good shot. Definitely is too strong for ANYONE applying to ND nowadays in my opinion. I have seen poor essays kill "definitely" people before.

As long as your daughter has a good essay and shows she wants to be here, I think she will have a good shot.

As for the GPA, I think it is alright...if you have any guess on the rank it would help though. The SAT is huge!

"Your child is most definitely in.

I'm glad he/she isn't applying this year against me."

ya Manutd.. bu he/she will be competing against me......

stats look great... (wish I had them)

great shot espc. cuz of the legacy

In- those are stellar SAT's.
Last night heard from reliable source that applications are up by 1,000 this year, so it is smart to not be overconfident, but your D looks super.
