Just let me know what you think!

GPA a little low ... raise your GPA, get very good test scores and spend time on your esays

show LOTS of interest, as well as what dancer said

Ok cool thanks for the advice you two! I'm planning on visiting during the summer and doing a tour and all of that, so hopefully they will see that I'm interested! What really worries me is my GPA since it's pretty low for this school, but hopefully I can raise it!

Any other thoughts?

Wash U is currently has a line at an ACT of 32. They are also looking at just about the top 5% in the class. Interest is important but scores are more important. Really work on the GPA and keep it up.

However, if you are on the border when you apply, apply for one of the smaller programs such as art. Once you are in, you can change your major to an engineering or medical discipline.

Also, if you want to play a sport, contact one of the coaches for that sport. He or she can be a huge help in making sure you are on track. The athletic department at Wash U is fantastic and have many championships behind them. If you are a good student and athlete, you have a better chance because of support.

Thanks intheknowmo! I was actually planning on applying for the fashion design program, and I'm hoping that my portfolio, camp experiences, and visits to WashU will help me. Hopefully I'll do good on the SAT!

Hey I'm from NC too, senior this year. Are you from the Queen City per chance? just curious.

Nope lol I'm not!
