-Won a National Security Language Initiative Scholarship from the State Department and studied Arabic in Egypt for six weeks, did community service w/ orphans
- Editor-in-Chief of a literary magazine, editing and organizing submissions from 3 different high schools
-Intern w/ a U.S. Senator’s office, preparing correspondence and researching issues
-Regional Lead for Organizing for America, Obama’s grassroots organization, youngest lead in the state</p>
