Not enough people posting on these "chance threads" I am writing as a mother deep into the process, Have read SEVERAL books on admissions, working with a professional counselor for my D. Been on all the web sites, and the local rising senior parents think me an authority (that said...like 99% of the people on the site, I am not a professional guidence counselor (those guys are useless anyway), and have a knowledge of the local kids stats and where they got in: That said...You're tests look strong as do your EC activities. Do you have a paying job or any volunteer experience? Usually the Asian angle won't help....but your South Asian and Bangladeshi (a desirable kind of Asian from an admissions standpoint!) I am surprised your weighted average isn't higher based on your stats. Were your freshman, sophmore classes honors or high honors? Does your school offer them?

No matter what anyone says...this is no science
