ok so I finally made an account, after becoming obsessed with visiting this board. These are my stats and I was hoping you guys could help me out. Thanks

I'm wondering what would be considered a "good" essay. Anyone who got accepted ED, what did you write about? Vita024, are you Catholic or a legacy? Maybe your GC thought your chances were low because 85% of ND is Catholic. That has to be it because your stats are exceptional.

I'm pretty certain ND does not aim for 85% Catholic, but rather their applicant pool, and thus their student body, ends up being around 85% Catholic. I don't believe it helps or hurts you to be either Catholic or non-Catholic.

I'm sorry dude... but those SAT's a low for ND standards, and lack of EC's may lead to an interesting time with admission crew. I think it's great that she takes an interest in ND, but she may have a better chance at a tier two, such as Holy Cross or Villanova...

Thanks for being honest. I do realize that with my SATs i don't stand a chance, however I thought that maybe with my ECs I have some what of a shot. I guess not~ so its hopeless grrrrrrrrrr
