<p>I know that in-state admissions are by rank. Would that be the most important factor for out of state applicants, or does McCombs value test scores more? And how influential would the essays be? I'm really struggling to write the required one. </p>

ACT: 35 (34/34/36/34) 8 essay.
SAT: waiting on October scores
PSAT: national merit semifinalist
AP Scholar w/Distinction (5's on Calc AB, Physics C: Mech; 4's on Micro, US History, 3 on English Lang)
Gold Medal x2 National Latin Exam
Won lots of individual/team awards from Junior Classical League state convention. Couple from Nationals.
And a few other minor awards. </p>
