Chances ruined for Wharton by these scores?

SAT:
1st time: 2170 (can't remember subscores)
2nd time: 2300 (750 CR, 770 M, 780 W)

SAT II:
1st time: Math II (680), Lit (680), US History (680)
2nd time: Math II (800), and still waiting to hear back about my lit test (didn't retake US History)

ACT:
1st time: 33 (35 E, 30 M, 36 R, 32 S, 32 E/W)
2nd time: 31 (34 E, 32 M, 31 R, 27 S, 33 E/W)

Since Wharton doesn't participate in score choice for ANYTHING (including SAT II), I sent both SAT scores, and ALL of my subject test scores Since I did considerably worse the second time for ACT, I decided not to send those at all (and just erase ACT scores from Common App for that school).

How much did my first subject test scores hurt my chances for Wharton? There is clear improvement in Math II, and there will hopefully be improvement in Lit, but I didn't take US History again. How bad does that look?

Just for the record, EC's are pretty good - lots of dedication to theatre/drama, fair amount of leadership, and have a small business going)

Dude, you and I literally have the same stats. 2170, then 2300 today. UPenn only considers your highest score so I wouldn’t worry about it.

Sweet! You must have been so stoked when you saw your score this morning  Yeah, my test got postponed, so scores are probably coming out later for me  And another q - I didn’t send my ACT scores. Do you think it would make a difference if I did? I primarily don’t want to send them because I did worse the second time.

Don’t send your ACT scores. Your SATs are fabulous.

Hey thank you! And yeah, I decided it would look worse to send the ACT ones. I did end up sending them to Stanford :frowning: But the admissions office did tell me that they understand students can get sick or something the second time, and that they’ll focus on the higher school. Idk how much merit that truly holds, but I think my SAT’s will cover it. Thanks again!!
