Thank you for any responses, they will be greatly appreciated!!

SAT II scores are not weighed heavily & won’t hurt you. SAT math score is low. I’d try taking the ACT where they only care about the composite score.

I think you should definitely apply early if you like the school, as it will drastically improve your chances. I’m liking the ECs and your GPA is decent, but as mentioned before, your SAT Subject Tests and even your SAT Reasoning Test score could be better. Retake either the Subject Tests or the Reasoning Test. What school are you applying to, btw?

I’m applying to the college of arts and sciences. I know my math and SAT II’s are on the lower sides, but I just don’t see any way I could spend money to take a SAT math course again. I am taking the SAT II’s again in October and I am really banking on the history cracking 700 and lit going up as well. Do you guys think that picking up my SAT II scores can compensate for my low math score if I want to apply ED?

From what I understand, SAT II’s are not nearly as heavily weighted as the SAT I. Definitely try the ACT, I raised my ACT score pretty high without a class.

The ACT is good for students who score below average in either CR or M on the SAT. Reason is that colleges only have to report total composite score in their admission stats. I would sugest putting your energy into the ACT rather than the Subject tests, we’ve had students get into Cornell with scores in the high 500’s and low 600’s.
