<p>Hey there! I'm applying to SMU for fall of 2012 and was curious what my chances for admittance and for merit aid are! Thanks!

I completed the Pre-IB program at my school and am currently half way through the IB program at my school, which is currently ranked one of the top 1% in the world.
SAT: 770 Verbal 760 Math 680 Writing
SAT2: 780 Math2 710 Lit 700 Bio E

<p>you’ll get in fine as you are above their middle percentile. you should ask about scholarships</p>

<p>Wow! That looks like a spectacular application! I’d say you have a very strong chance of a good-sized merit scholarship, however the pool changes annually. Compared to some of the other schools you’re applying to (Georgetown, Vandy, etc) you have a much better chance of merit aid (Georgetown doesn’t do that at all…). I’d encourage you to contact Carol Morris and start a dialogue with her (she’s the FL counselor). Come for a visit soon!</p>
