So here are my questions
1. Do I have a higher chance at Stanford/Princeton considering I did poorly frosh year, and my GPA would be calculated approx. .2 points higher?
2. What are my chances at the colleges listed?
3. How are my EC's?
4. What's good/bad about my app?
5. Any other comments?

Please PLEASE if you read this- POST SOMETHING! Thank You

You're in the ballpark for all of them. Harvard is unlikely just due to the nature of the beast, but legacy will help a lot. Just put a lot of work into the essays etc and I'm sure you'll be admitted to some great schools.

Looks good to me

You'll automatically be rejected from every one of them. Your SATs are way too low and your GPA is terrible.

...

For God's sake what did you think your chances were? You've got great stats but can't figure out what your chances are with those stats?

Your GPA is great! ... But not for Ivies.

I'd say you have a shot at UC's, but your EC's are really bad. Work on them, and get your SATs up.

Good luck :-)

Are you kidding jkid? That's a freaking awesome GPA, and s/he is in the top 3%. That's perfectly competitive for the ivies.

? GPA on the places I'm applying to say Avg. GPA is 3.75
Work on my EC's? How do you mean? SAT 2260 and bring it up? >< To what?

x1429:

UCB/UCLA: Match (out of state)

Mainly looking at Columbia, Stanford, Princeton, and Harvard- chances on those? :)

I think you'll get into a good number of your schools. Your grades have gotten a lot better--you have high grades in tough classes and your test scores are excellent. You also did TASP, are president of debate, and have hundreds of volunteer hours...I'd say you're in at most of your schools. Good luck!

I can't believe someone said 2260 is way too low. That's ridiculous; a 2260 is in the ballpark for a top tier ivy. Typical stats obsesseed CCer. Your GPA shows an upward trend, and that's good, but if the colleges look at your Frosh year, you're screwed. TASP helps you out tremendously, as does your legacy at Harvard.

I'd say you're a mixed bag; I really can't help you with a judgement either way. I guess it depends on what the individual adcoms see in you: whether or not they think you have a salient feature or hook.
