Hi, I have been studying at BRCC (community college) since 2009 and applied for graduation December 2011. I had recieved two D's in two different history classes and had to retake those two classes plus a statistics class last semester AND get all A's in all of those classes to get my GPA back up to a 3.0 for guaranteed admissions. Unfortunately I have gotten a few C's throughout going to college in my core classes. Even with a signed letter of intent under applying for guaranteed admissions, JMU could not "like" that I have had so many C's and not accept me. I'm very stressed about this because I have no other options. JMU is my option. I don't even have classes this semester at BRCC. I want to know if anyone else out there has applied to JMU through guaranteed admissions but had more C's than JMU might "like" and if you were accepted or not. I'm dying because I won't get the letter until April. Please if anyone has anything helpful to say, it would be really appreciated!!!

I’m on the same boat as you. My current GPA is a 2.94, I’m not under the guaranteed admission, however my GPA after this semester should bounce back to a 3.2, but this is my last semester… and I applied with a 2.94 GPA, I had a couple of C’s in my core classes, no D’s though, Im nervous as you are
