i'm applying to exeter, andover, deerfield and sps
i have all a's except one b, so like a 3.8 gpa. it might be 4.0 after a conference with my teacher
i'm starting the debate team at school.. i'm a cellist in three orchestras, 2nd and 3rd chairs
i'm president of my own club, social action. i'm part of the unitarian church youth group. i'm in gsa, writer's circle, drama club, math team. i've been a president of another social action club last year, i studied in peru last semester.
the only thing i'm worried about is my dumb b.
other than that, i think i could do well on the ssat
but what are my chances? (i'm applying junior year)

i was on the swim team too and i'm hispanic??

If you are into debate I would apply to Hotchkiss as well they have they best debate team in America and one of the best in the world.

That way you would be applying to the HADES schools.

the fact that your hispanic will be a definite boost, and is the swim team thing still going on with you? because I think the admissions committee wants current activities

so the b won't be too much of a big deal?

yea...as long as your other grades are better!if you read the 'thingy' that exeter handed out, i think they are looking for kids who have 'mostly A's' since every school has a different curriculum than the other ones - sometimes harder, sometimes easier:)
