Chances Transfer Autumn 2014

Currently a freshman at Western Washington University, planning on transferring to UW in Autumn 2014.

High School:
- 4.0 GPA
- took several AP and honors classes
- had a part time job
- involved in many clubs and activities
- lots of volunteer work
- 1710 on SATs
- applied for freshman admission and got in (went to WWU instead)

Now at WWU:
- 3.00 GPA, probably can get it up to a 3.4 by the end of the quarter
- have part time job
- know I want to major in Human Centered Design & Engineering, taking classes that will apply to the major

What are my chances of getting in? What can I do to improve my chances?

Low chances. And here is what you need to do to improve them – get involved in school activities because your HS stuff wouldn’t matter much. They would be looking at how you do as a college student, not how you did as a high school student.

Also, start thinking about a very convincing reason why you want to transfer.
