<p>I had very similar stats to yours going in, I got in to Dartmouth, WashU (w/ scholarship), and here (w/ scholarship). I'd say you are very competitive for admission to Umich, and you could very well be offered quite a bit of money. I'm a black male btw.</p>

<p>Jaw, what school do you go to? I went to Georgetown Prep in Rockville. </p>

<p>Anyway, I like your chances...even if you weren't African American. Your Sophomore year will probably keep you from getting into Princeton, but you are in everywhere else. I agree with KB, you will most likely end up getting quite a bit of money from Michigan.</p>

<p>Well, there are definitely plenty of high-performing black males at this school, just take a look at our basketball and football teams. But I think kb is speaking of academics. Sometimes there's overlap (like Chris Hunter, what a stud), but yeah, academically talented minority students should probably be recruited as much as athletically talented minority students. So come on over!</p>

<p>If you think you have it in you to get 1500 on the SAT, you're almost a lock for Princeton.</p>
