...other things i cant remeber right now

My first choice is UNC-CHapel Hill

others
UVA, Geogetown, Duke, Princeton (Yea i kno...), Hampton, University of Maryland-College Park, Michigan, UMBC, University of Miami..and thats all i can think of right now

I hope being african american will help me alot...even though that might sound greedy

Affirmative action is banned in California, although UC schools do consider race as a factor in admissions. But race isn't the ONLY factor. I can't say that you being black will help you A LOT.

Affirmative Action is not "banned in California". It's banned at the University of California schools. Stanford practices AA, for example.

the only advantage of being any type of minority applying to the UC system is for any grant money or scholarship that is specifically for your race. I think the same is true for UNC Chapel Hill. Good luck, hope you get in on your merit!

regardless of race, your stats are impressive. You have a good shot.

Slight reach.

You're a slight/mid reach because you're out-of-state.

uhh i dont think so.

your gpa would be way lower since they dont count ninth grade.

your sats are low for out of state

its a reach IMO

Not to bring you down but Big reach. UC does not practice affirmative action.

You're not missing out on much, I believe you will probably get into at least Duke and thats a great school.
