Hi everyone! I'm applying to the aforementioned schools but I also need suggestions as to what other schools I should consider. I'm not ruling out any OOS schools.

Stats:
Female, white
Permanent resident - Florida
Low income family
GPA - unweighted: 3.8
GPA - weighted: 4.3
SAT: 1130/1600 and 1690/2400 (retaking)
ACT: 29
Top 10% of my class out of about 430 students
Large public high school, fairly competitive
APs - taken: WH (2), US (4), Eng Lang (4)
APs - senior year: French, Eng Lit, Gov, Calc BC, Chem, Microecon
Besides APs, have take all honors except for 2 classes
75+ comm. service hours for Bright Futures

ECs:
French National Honor Society - secretary for 2 years, will be president senior year (most passionate about this EC, helped organize different events also)
FBLA 3 year involvement
Mu Alpha Theta
Debate Team
Chinese Club

Your GPA and rank are good, but I would strongly suggest submitting your ACT only to the schools you’re looking at, unless you get a 1900+ on your second attempt. Your ECs are decent, and with your solid ACT score and Florida residency you are definitely a match for all three schools! (I’m assuming USF is University of Southern Florida )
Good luck!

^ totally agree. You can get into UF with that SAT, but you need better EC’s than just class president and Chinese Club. Get more than 75 hours, I live in FL and I got near 300 myself. The more the better. P.M me and I will give you some more hints.

youll pretty much get into any school in florida with those scores. the only one you might have a problem with is UF, unless you apply for summer than id say your gaurunteed! your act score is really strong and ive seen kids with a 4.2 weighted and a 28 on the act get into uf in the fall.
