Chances @ UofM/MIT/UPenn/JHU/McGill

I didn't have much detail so I've added some and was outside of the 20 minute mark for editing my thread. I'll repost the updated version below:

I am a junior in high school and live in Michigan.
My high school is one of two in town that each have around 1500 students.

I'm planning on going into Biomedical/Biological Engineering (depending on what's offered for undergrads) and then obtaining an MBA in graduate school, probably somewhere else.

Colleges I'm looking at:
-University of Michigan
-MIT
-University of Pennsylvania
-Johns Hopkins University
-McGill University

Unweighted GPA: ~3.7
Weighted GPA: ~4.4
(Expected to go up due to more honors classes this year and next)

pre-ACT: 34

I'm an IB (International Baccalaureate) diploma candidate.
IB classes are equivalent to AP classes.

Junior year classes (2012-13)
IB Theory of Knowledge
IB Math HL 1
IB Spanish 4
Honors Symphonic Band
IB History of the Americas
IB Organic/Environmental Chemistry
IB World Literature 1

Senior year classes (2013-14)
IB Math HL 2
Honors Symphonic Band
IB 20th Century World Topics
IB Advanced Biology
IB World Literature 2

I will most likely dual-enroll at a community college my senior year to take a physics class aswell.

Extra-curriculars ( -activity : grades involved )
-JV/(Varsity) Track and Field : 10-11 (12)
Pole vault
-Youth Leadership Program : 9-11 (12)
This is a program in my county for freshman applicants. They are given a chance to attend workshops on leadership and becomming more active members of their communities. In each year's graduating class of 45 students, 9 are selected to join the steering committee and help run the program in the following years.
-Symphonic Band : 9 - 11 (12)
I was one of two 9th graders to make the cut into symponic band my freshman year. I play oboe. Our band has received all 1's (the highest rank) at band and orchestra festivals during the past years (longer than I've been at the school).
-Symphonic Orchestra (" ") : 9-11 (12)
See "Symphonic Band".
-Drum Major : 11 (12)
I am 1 of 4, and the only junior, drum major for our 190 piece marching band. The selection process includes a popular vote, essay, and observed leadership.
-Student Ambassador : 11 (12)

-National Honor Society : 11 (12)

-Business Professionals of America : 11 (12)

I accumulated 180+ volunteer hours last year.

If I think of anything else, I'll add it.

I'm looking for a job that would look good on my resume. Maybe something showing demonstrated interest in engineering? My town is the headquarters for the second largest chemical company in the world but I don't know what position would be good to apply for.
There's also a sizable medical center in town but I've checked on their site and no positions are open.

I'd like to get a research/intern position

Suggestions are welcome. Tell me your opinions of the colleges I have listed. I'm open to any information the community can give me.

Bump. If someone could please chance me, I’d appreciate it!

could someone please chance me? i’ll try to do the same in return

BTW I’m also looking at Carnegie Mellon. Engineering + Arts seems right up my alley.

come back in a year

come back in a year

can anyone try to chance me for this year?

I will…

JHU: Reach
UPenn: Reach
MIT: Reach
CMU: High match (the four schols above are never safeties to anyone)
UMI: Low match (perhaps safety)
McGill: Low match (ECs are only a tie-breaker there; requires two of math, biology, chemistry or physics SAT IIs, each of which must be 670+, preferably 700+)
