Hey there!

I'm a junior in high school and I'm trying to be really competitive for Georgetown Uni. It's literally like... my one and only top choice haha.

Here we go...

I'm a military brat so my education is somewhat all over the place (LIKE MY CHILDHOOD). I bounced between DoD schools and homeschooled. I will be taking my first SATs in May! Ahhhh. My projected scores seem pretty decent, with english/languages being a strong suit. Should be between 1800-2100. I never took the ACT... should I? I am weak in maths. I plan to take at least three SAT Subject Tests - math 1, Eng, and Spanish, perhaps US History as well.

I've taken AP classes throughout my schooling: I took AP Spanish freshman year of high school, dual enrollment (local college) classes sophomore year (maintained straight As), and junior year I've taken AP English, AP US History, AP Economics, and AP Comparative Government, as well as personal finance and communications at college. Senior year I'll be taking AP and college classes as well! Everything I take is AP or college level/dual enrollment except for Calc and Physics. I'm a liberal arts kid, what can I say. I did struggle through Chemistry at college level though. My GPA is kind of weird because of homeschool/college transcripts, so I'm not entirely certain, but I've only ever gotten one B - Chemistry. Ick. Everything else I have As.

I feel like my ECs are strong for what interests me. I've been executive director for a non-profit that works with therapy horses, I moved out when I was sixteen, and I co-own a business with my roommate that's pretty rad. I speak several different languages, including Greek and Arabic, and I played competitive travel soccer up until I moved out of my parents' house. I also hold national and amateur international titles in dressage and show jumping (go equestrians!) Aaaand I waitressed at a diner (aim high, kids) and interned for the Smithsonian. I live in DC now. I'm 17, whiter than sour cream, female, half Irish half Greek.

I really freaking want to go to Georgetown.
