Agree, with an even better SAT, you’ll be set. I recommend WUSTL, it’s a beautiful campus and a fantastic school, I’ve seen it myself and know many who go/have went there. Good luck!

OUTSTANDING ECs, decent stats. I’m sure your ECs will shine in the admissions process!

You are very involved in your school with leadership positions to match which is great! Raise your SAT II scores to at least 750+ for the ivies. I believe the ivies want to see some kind of focus so maybe you could gear your essays towards service towards the community (NHS/best buddies, etc). I’m not sure if you can identify as hispanic unless your mother is more than 50%. Good luck!!

Thank you all for your advice/suggestions. Is it too late for me to take the SAT in november? for early admission? I woudl do early action for chciago and michigan and early decision for brown. Would it be too late? I’m also taking the act in september and subject tests in october. I’ve been doing much better on the act so I might just end up sending that score in…any thoughts?? And I will chance all of you guys ASAP.

I’ll chance you with a 32 ACT

get that ACT up to a 34+ and then you’ll have some better chances :D

apply as hispanic and that’ll help you even more

Like others before me said, try to bring up the ACT I got a 31 my first time and a 34 my second. As a follow NHS president and someone who loves the concept of microloans I was interested in your profile, I’ll chance you as soon as I get home, my phone can’t copy/paste your school list :P

Alright, so I think your main strength is, as you already said, EC’s your SATs/ACTs could use a bit of work and are obviously one of the weaker points of your app. Study for the ACT or SAT, I’d say you should choose one so you can focus the rest of your time putting “crown jewels” in your EC’s (i.e. really cool high level stuff that you do in your EC, winning a major award etc.) or you can also spend that time increasing SAT II scores or writing killer college essays. Now that my little two bits are through
