oh and i'm applying to geosciences (i have an interest in the major and demonstrated it in essay C)

90% sure you will get in! Knew a guy that was barely top quarter of his graduating class but got in due to his perfect math SAT. Anyway, GOODLUCK!

haha i am honored to be first post =). Nope, I had to give my mom primary care and take care of my little sister when my mom fell sick with long-term illness (my sophomore to junior year) and with all these ECs and being in the IB program, I wasn’t able to perform as well as I could have =/. I also explained that in essay C and if you’re wondering how i managed to explain both my passion for the geosciences and this in essay C, the answer is ingeniously ;)

Now I would be delighted to hear your opinion on my chances!

Thanks Xcellerator, and I won’t be shocked if I don’t get in; however in about a year and a half of lurking/posting I have not seen anyone with better stats who applied to geo on this board who got rejected (although I have seen plenty with worse stats get in). Being Asian, though, seems like it would be enough to get me rejected. :/

Thanks very much for your input.
Further opinions from any of you out there (please be honest :D) would be greatly appreciated
