Chances?

I really like the school and it is my top pick, however my gpa is a major inhibitor. Please share opinion on whether I have a decent chance or not.

Can i get in?

Great rank, good SATs, great weighted gpa but what happened to your unweighted gpa? You have good ECS as well so I think your overall package will get you in even with the low uw gpa.

I think your chances are excellent despite the issue with grades.

So whats up with that unweighted GPA? It doesn’t seem like it could be that low with a 5.1 weighted gpa.

You’re in the top 18% of your class.

And I think USC uses a weighted GPA, so you should be fine.

I don’t know anyone with an unweighted that low… but my unweighted and a friend of mine’s were about a 2.9. My weighted was a 3.43 and I got a scholarship.

Did you go to a hard high school or a private school or something? That also tends to make a difference.

The school I attended the first 2 years of high school was very hard and was ranked #71 in the country for public schools
