<p>You think I could get any money, even though we received insurance claims on our house? Prior to the hurricane, I didn't qualify for finanicial aid at all.</p>

<p>Who knows, seems the Katrina tragedy is a whole new type of animal. I don't think anyone can really predict how the colleges are going to handle it as far as fin. aid.</p>

<p>If you can write well about the experience I think it could be a plus. But, this same sort of thing happened with 9/11 and I've heard most of the essays that were written about that weren't very good.</p>
