<p>My friend applied ED and was rejected. She really loves the school so she wrote a letter of interest to the admissions office.</p>

<p>gpa: 3.2 UW at a notably competitive public school
SAT: 1700</p>

<p>she's done a lot of work for a children's hospital, volunteering and stuff. plus, she's done a bunch of other community service around town. </p>

<p>currently taking AP Psych with a 3.5, that's her only AP though.</p>

<p>she hasn't had an interview, although i'm trying to convince her to, and has visited campus twice.</p>

<p>Hard to tell. SAT is now 2400 max isn't it? Hm.......</p>

<p>Geneseo is the toughest SUNY to get into. Tell your friend good luck. </p>

<p>I really didn't find interviews necessary, so I didn't go for it. I was accepted anyway. It's the best SUNY now and it is pretty good school overall as well. Good luck to your friend.</p>
