AP World History Student of the Year?
is this just in your school?

yeah its just a school based award but i thought it worth mentioning.

Oh and on a side note, one of my classmates who did NOT receive the award was a senior who was MIT bound. (With a $150,000 scholarship. He turned down a $130,000 Harvard scholarship)

Havard and MIT don't give merit based scholarships. Do you mean they got that from outside sources?
