GPA: 3.90 weighted
SAT: 630 Math, 550 Reading, and will retake in June
ACT: will take next month and in June</p>

<p>Will have taken 18 Honors/Ap courses by senior year, currently at 13.
My rank is 87/586, roughly top 15% of a top academic and athletic high school
I havn't received a grade lower than a C+, but have received 2 in honors Spanish 3, 1 in APUSH, and 1 in Spanish 4 (I currently have a B+ in there)
Math: HAlgebra1, Halgebra2, Hgeometry, precal, and AP calc senior year
English, Heng9, Heng10, 20th century lit, Etymology, and an honors writing class senior year
Science: Hbiology, Hchem, Apchem, and AP physics senior year
Social Studies: Hgeography, APworld history, APUSH, and AP gov and AP economics senior year
4 years of Spanish with two years honors and one AP senior year
Will have 4 years of band
4 years of Weight Training
I dropped my study hall this year, to take precal (that is the reason it's regular and not honors, that was the only way I could drop my study hall)
GPA is descent, grades have been par, A's, B's and 4 unwanted C+'s
I have been accepted to attend the summer seminar this summer
I am involved in Stugo as a member of the community service committee (I have many volunteer hours)
I have played soccer for three years and participated as a player and manager this past year for the school (no varsity letter ) I have played competitive travel soccer for the past 8 years, starting since 4th grade. I am in Spanish National Honors Society and was apart of Spanish club for two years. I am apart of a new club (Timmy Global Health) and have been a PROUD member of the ping pong club for the pasts three years. I helped start a CYO basketball team and have been a member for the past three years. I participated in one year of organized volleyball my sophomore year. I tutor/student teach and fourth grade class every Monday after class. I am a member of the band, as a bassoonist, and have been 1st chair/section leader. I har played the bassoon for 6 years. Band is an official class, but has many after school rehearsals and is time consuming.
I am physically fit participating in local events (5ks, bike rides, ect)
Again though no varsity letters, I might get one for managing this fall, but it's not the same.</p>

<p>ND will be a reach for you. I hate to be blunt, but you will probably be rejected. The biggest thing you can do right now is improve your test scores and continue with your ECs. </p>

<p>I agree with picklechicken… You are well below their averages and the fact that you have B’s and C’s will almost downright get you knocked in the first round. You need something that you are passionate about and lead… you can’t just be a participator. Best of luck in the rest of you college search!</p>

<p>These are the SAT middle 50% range at ND: Reading 660 / 750… Math 680 / 770</p>

<p>Although you math score is only a little low, your reading score is over 100 points below the lower 25% of 660.</p>

<p>So, yes, ND is currently an obvious reach. If you really want to go, then give ND a try but also apply to several other schools; especially Purdue and IU which are both good matches for you. Apply to either one, or both, plus a couple of private colleges. </p>

<p>If you are Catholic, Villanova has a reputation of being the second choice for people who want to go to Notre Dame. Also, Marquette is not too far from home. Those are pretty good matches for you.</p>
