I’m a junior right now and have been taking pretty much all ap courses with the exception of h spanish 4 this year.
Got a C in 1st semester hprecalculus in sophmore year, another C in first semester ap calculus bc, and made the dumbest move of getting a D in hspanish 4 for 1st semester, making no A’s in first semester of junior year. Instead of doing better n junior year compared to sophomore year, I did worse.

What are my chances of getting into UCI with biology or computer science major?

Need test scores and UC GPA.

Biology and CS are definitely two the most popular and competitive majors at UCI. Your SAT score is very competitive but UC GPA could be better. UCI likes those 4.0+ GPA’s. I would say UCI would be a slight Reach. If you could bump up your GPA into the 3.8 range, would stand a better chance. UCI decisions should be posting soon, so I would just look through the accepted thread to see how many applicants are accepted with your GPA.

@Gumbymom Do you know the chances for a student applying to chemical engineering by any chance? I haven’t seen a single person get admitted into ChemE so I’m not sure about my chances, but can you tell how difficult it generally is to get in? Thanks!
