Chances???

My daughter is hoping to attend Washington in Fall 2017 (Illinois resident). She has a 3.7 UW/4.46 W GPA. ACT: 26 (Superscore 28) she will retake the ACT in September. She is a member of National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society; Math Honor Society; English Honor Society; History Honor Society; Future Health Professionals of America; Student Council; Students Against Drunk Driving; 2 year Varsity Captain of her dance team; 4 year Varsity dancer; 7AP classes the rest are all honors classes; peer mentoring, athletic leadership council; over 100 volunteer hours at local hospital.

Chances??

She has a fair-good chance. Some notes:
UW doesn’t take superscores
Extracurricular’s only matter if she’s actively taking a role and leading in them. If she’s just a part of the club and doesn’t do anything or attend often, then do not put it in the application.
UW takes unweighted GPA’s but takes into consideration course rigor, e.g. AP
UW makes it harder for out of state residents to get accepted.
The importance of deciding factors for acceptance are as follows: GPA, personal statement & test scores, residency & extra curriculars. In other words, write a really good personal statement.
