Hello everyone,

I am a senior in high school and I just wanted to know my chances of admission

Ethnicity: Asian
Sex: Male
State: Alabama
Intended Major: Electrical Engineering (undecided)
Status: Permanent Residency (Green Card)
(I came here 8 years ago, keep that in mind please…)

Test
I’ve taken ACT. My composites (both normal and superscored) are not pretty though… and I topped out last month so I can’t take any more
ACT English: 31
ACT Math: 36
ACT Reading: 28
ACT Science: 31
ACT Writing: 29
Superscored Composite: 32

Classes
So far, I’ve gotten all As in all of my classes.

I think my score is too low to get into higher competitive schools. But I just wanted to hear what other people would think.

Welcome to Mississippi State or UAH. Maybe Georgia Tech, but the average ACT is 31. To be comfortable, you really want to be in their 75th percentile.This may sound harsh, but you have almost no chance at the others. You should add a match school. You did well given that you moved here 8 years ago, but colleges won’t care about that. Plenty of students have done the same.
