Please Chance me! Going there first year is all I have in my mind right now and I really don’t want to transfer.

Because you are in-state, you have a great chance of being accepted, but it depends on your major selection, I guess. Did you apply for engineering?

Notwithstanding that you don’t want to go anywhere other than Georgia Tech, you really need to have a back-up plan in place in case you are not admitted.

I am applying for CS.

@gandalf78 Well my backup plan is to go to KSU and transfer to tech through the Conditional Transfer Pathway. This offer is only open to me because my brother attends tech at the moment. So basically, if I manage to get a 3.3 gpa or higher and complete all my courses, then it’s an automatic transfer to tech.

And from my understanding, the major you pick does not alter your chances of being admitted since most students decide to change their majors through 1st or 2nd year.

I’m not sure about that, I’ve heard computer science is one of the hardest majors to get into. Check my thread too.

@mustardprime Hmm that is interesting because this information was given to me by a GT official

@adab115 if that is the case then that’s pretty cool
