nothing else really stands out except i skiped a grade in math so i'm taking two calc classes at university of hartford right now
... any chance for me?

Which school?

Either way you have a shot because your top rank and SATs should offset that 3.4. The Ap's and college calc classes help too. Write your essays well and you may see an acceptance letter (though remember some colleges are harder than others ie: SCS).

whats the scs? i'm looking to double major in bussiness and engineering, so i guess which ever schools easier would be the one i apply to

SCS = school of computer science.

You can apply to both Tepper and CIT in your application so just check both boxes. For '06 Tepper had slightly better stats than CIT but they do look for different things in their students.

thx alot... which school do u think i'll b more suited for with my stats?

Hey Hinvestorp, your chances seem strong for both CIT and Tepper. I would encourage you to apply to both, and if you get into both, decide which would is better suited for what you WANT to do, not which area your stats are slightly better in. While you have to pick one school, you will be able to double major or minor in an area outside. For instance, I'm in CIT but I'm planning to double major in mechanical engineering and economics.

Best of luck in the college process and feel free to write back with any more questions you might have.

thanks for everyones input , at the beginng i was thinking i wouldnt get into any schools lol... but as for another questoin, i know that alot of schools have the same accept rate early or not, does carnegie have any significant differences between early decision and regular in terms of getting accepted? also i forgot to mention that i'm asian.. would that hurt or help in any way?
