What are the chances of UVa accepting In-state v. Out-State? I know that In-state has much more advantage but what exactly is the percentage broken down because there are alot of people from out of state.
Oh, and what happens when if a person is deferred? Does that mean they are on the waiting list?

UVa as a ratio that is required by the state of virginia. 2/3 (?) of all accepted applicants must be from VA. Thus, its really hard for OOS.

if a person is deferred, they are basically not admitted under early admissions. they are reconsidered as a regular applicant, which is not the same as the wait list. if you get deferred, you send an update such as your semester grades, as required for regular admissions. its not over basically, tho your not "in"

the wait list if for regular applicants. dont expect to get in if you are on the wait list. chances are very small

Thanks for the info. I guess it is like state schools have to split the ratio, like W & M, 65, 35 split. Only 4 days left!
