Thanks for evaluating me!!

anyone????

I'd say you should get merit aid with those stats. At least $15k (seems to be around the norm)

$15K a year? If so, thats a lot. My state school only gives like $5000 a year and they consider that being generous to in-state students.

You'll almost definitely get in and get plenty of merit aid with that!

yummi: But there is a big difference in the tuition between your state school and RPI...

thats a good point. i would have to say that my state school is one of the more expensive ones and it really isn't that great either, so i don't really want to go there.

RPI has some nice merit aid for women. I have a friend whose daughter is there and got a couple thousand more this year than previous for no apparent reason except that they want to keep her.

thats very interesting. Considering how expensive RPI is I don't think I can go unless they give me around $18,000- $20,000 a year, which is a lot.

ive been looking around, and somewhere i saw that rpi's average financial aid is 28k

The $28,000 is need-based aid. The average merit award is around $15,000. Those amounts are in the Common Data Set.

do they generally give more scholarship to girls?

so would that come to a totally of $43,000 in total aid?

if so, wow

wut percent get financial aid?
