Thanks for your help!!

You have a decent/good chance but OSU is getting harder each year for OOS kids. I say Just retake the SAT and see what happen or take the ACT.

I'm not in, but from all I've read I'd say you should probably retake SAT and sign up for the ACT if you can.

a 1320 is more than enough to get into OSU. Marine. I got an 1100, international student and OSU likes international students. I have not read anywhere on their website that OOS students have less of a chance. OSU wants OOS cause they have so lil and would benefit from having them, increasing diversity. Especially OOS'ers with 1320's on the SAT. True, OSU is getting harder to getting a lot tougher to get into and I predict by 2010 OSU will be surprsingly difficult to get into as OSU is getting lots of popularity and recognition (#1 in BBall and Football plus Top nationally ranked programs), however right now OSU has averge SAT's of about 1200 and u are definately in the upper range. I doubt OSU's average SAT scores have gone up a full 100 points this year :D, but who knows, I could be wrong.

i'm out of state and got a 1130 on my SAT and got in.

i say he's got a very good chance

Yea, you should be fine, but now-a-day's OSU can be a little unpredictable.

OSU is getting increasingly more selective, so I wouldn't advise basing your chances on previous students. Just because someone got in a few years ago (or even this year) with a XXXX on the SAT doesn't mean you will.

Still, your courseload and extracurriculars look good. I'd say bring your GPA up again first semester of senior year to show that you've been improving and will probably continue to improve, and sign up for the ACT. Why do you think your scores between the reading and math section of the SAT were so far apart? If you think you can do better on the reading, then take the SAT again, but if you feel that you are just weaker in the critical reading area, then don't waste your money until you see if the ACT gives a better score.
