Many EC’s including FBLA- won awards, DECA, relay for life captain, homeless shelter involvment, volunteer work at an aquarium for the whole summer and others.</p>

<p>I would say more of a target then a low reach (why does everyone call everything a low reach?). Your SAT/ACT is about there but your GPA is quite low, if your ECs and essays back it up, though, I can definitely see you getting in. </p>
<p>3.1 UW GPA is very low for OSU, and his test scores are below the median as well. It’s just a fact that his stats aren’t quite what OSU expects.</p>
<p>^But they do accept 75% of applicants, and from experience I’ve seen a lot of people with worse stats then him get in. I do agree though looking at it again his ACT is lower, I was going off bad information.</p>

p.s. kids from my school have gotten in with lower scores, and the average gpa from my school is a 3.5, the average act is a 25, and the average sat is around an 1810. not sure if that will make a substantial difference</p>
