Here are my stats:
International Student
SAT 1: 2010 (CR: 680, Maths: 730, Writing: 600)
SAT 2: Math 1c 730, Physics 780, Chemistry 760)
GPA: 3.1 (my school does'nt have a ranking sysrem)
8 A's nd 3 A's in O-Levels and A-levels respectively (think A-levels are equivalent of AP's)
Have decent ECAs.
The thing is I need a lot of aid and with my stats is it possible to get in?

nope you wont get in

Your international diversity and decent scores may make up for you GPA. Remember that Vassar is need blind this year, but let's be realistic; top LACs, though they flaunt their "need-blind" status, will always give the slightest, ever so small tip/edge to those student who have impressive stats and in no need of aid.

so, i guess the only thing that is holding you back is your GPA. But GPAs are evaluated differently in different schools in different regions, and Vassar will likely recalculate your GPA. still, a 3.1 is a 3.1...

I think you have shot, but maybe a slight reach shot.

Your GPA, as you're probably aware, is rather low for the school (the average for my class, 2011, was an A-, so 3.7) and your SATs are around the 50% mark; however your SAT IIs and A and O level classes are quite impressive, so it's hard to definitively say. Depending on where in the world you're from (do students from your country frequently apply to Vassar?), your chances at getting in, in my opinion, vary from a semi-reach to a high reach.

And, by the way, Vassar, to the best of my knowledge, is not need blind for international students. That being said, I rather doubt that the fact that you need financial aid will negatively affect your chances at being admitted.
