GPA is on the low side for University Park ("main"). Is this weighted or uw?
Keep trying to get that GPA up (counts for 2/3).
Also, apply as early as possible (late august).

that's my weighted gpa

Doubtful you'll get into UP however, you'll get into a secondary campus which in reality isn't a bad proposition

gs1002 - dont be discouraged. I really think you should resist asking people on CC to chance you - there is no benefit to it. People have gotten into UP with similar stats to yours. I personally know of 2 students. No-one on CC can predict how you will be assessed by admissions.

Do the things that are within your control....ie..Keep your grades up and take the ACT as many times as possible and try to hit 29+.

Also, very importantly, APPLY EARLY. You MUST get everything (not just your application but also your transcripts/recommendations etc...) in to PSU by the end of November. After that their criteria for admissions goes up substantially. So start early and spend time and thought on your essays.

Also remember your school's profile plays a part in all this. So keep working hard and end the school year well and continue to show that upward trend in your GPA. It matters!

Best of luck, gs1002!
