Hi all, so here's the deal. I applied to all the UC's and wanted to know what you think my chances are for each school.

I'm a Computer Science major at a CC and my GPA is 3.3. I finished all my pre-reqs except for Linear Algebra, which I'm taking right now. I also did internships around the country during the summers, work full-time, and volunteer. My essays were OK, but it could have been better.

Also, if I were to change majors while at a UC, would that be possible? I have also completed pre-reqs for Political Science. But the chances of me changing are slim to none.

Any thoughts would be great. Thanks!

Well, your chances at UCLA and Cal are pretty low. I heard that LA is sometimes harder to get into than Cal. So your chance might be higher at Cal. For example, know someone with a 3.6 that got rejected from LA but got into Cal. This happened twice as he applied twice( don't ask why, I don't know). You probably will make it into all the other UC with ease.

I think if its in the same department, then it shouldn't be difficult. So for polysci, you probably can change if your computer science major is located in the same department. For instance, I believe that Cal has a CS major under the L&S department( check to make sure).
