You don't post on an internet forum for niceness, you post for the information you need. What the freak is the point in asking for chances if all you want to hear is that you're a shoo-in? Your GPA is very low, and will be the cause of your getting rejected, unless of course this, which sounds like a grandiloquent exaggeration of peer tutoring

CEO and founder of a non-profit corporation to help teach kids of any economical background how to debate
[/quote]
is actually true. Your SAT scores are high, though.

Yet, that argument can be applied to any situation. Niceites are really required for the vast majority of things. This means that either a) you guys are aholes in real life in everything you due and are socially crippled or b) just like to be rude on the interenet, which at least puts you on the ahole streak.

I don't see why you're complaining. Don't ask for chances if you want to hear "you're in" Also, its an ivy! Everyone's chances are slim! I'd say yours are 0 though because of GPA

"CEO and founder of a non-profit corporation to help teach kids of any economical background how to debate"

this is a debate tutoring group, I wouldn't put it in such flowery language because that will just pss an admissions officer off. It's substantial, but attempting to place it on an unduly high pedestal would undermine its perceived value.

"VERY actively involved in national circuit LD debate; extremely dedicated to the task and its effects"

are you the high up in some national bureaucratic LD organization? have you won anything substantial in LD? if not, it won't carry as much weight as you would like.

"My grandpa, who raised me when I was little, died my soph year and caused my grades to deteriorate (2 Cs)"

has he single handedly raised you, or was he just close to you? if you lost your only 'parent' sophomore year then it can be seen as a massive set back, if he was involved in your life when you were young, then it will be seen as a normal set back. these things happen they'll probably understand.

3.45 is still very low - a few people might get in even with a gpa like that, how tough is your school? if it's a top top school i can see you having a good chance, if it's an average school and your rank is outside the top 10%, then you should be rejected.
