<p>-female, rising senior
-Biracial (i claim both African American and Caucasian heritage)
- 3.7 weighted GPA (with a rising trend)
-private, competitive, college prep school</p>

<p>-advanced classes: Honors humanities, Geometry Accelerated, Algebra 2 Accelerated, Honors Physics, Precalculus honors, AP calculus, AP European History, and AP spanish.</p>

<p>-EC's Dance classes (since the age of 3), competitive dance team, amnesty international, national honors society (for which i have been elected secretary), and managing my schools cross country team</p>

<p>-so far 152 hrs of service that include teaching dance classes and managing the CC team. I plan to log at least 60 more hours in the coming year.</p>

<p>-ACT composite 33 w/ 35 english, 33 math, 34 reading, and 28 science</p>

<p>-Awards: Outstanding Young Person leadership/academic award from my city's Urban League (5 years running), winning my school's annual writing contest, National Merit & National Acheivement</p>

<p>I'd say you have a good shot. Just write a pretty decent essay, which shouldn't be too hard if you won that essay contest. I would probably put you at a match with Macalester. But of course my opinion isn't the one that matters.</p>

<p>well from what ive seen of MACs admissions stats, id say you have an excellent shot. I wouldnt go so far as to call it a safety or anything, but id be fairly certain that youll get in. I belive your 33 is easily within the top 25% of admitted students. Check the college board site for the exact stats. good luck</p>
