Chances?

ND is my first choice by a mile, and I'll make sure they know that.

SAT:
CR: 750
MATH: 780
WRITING: 800

SAT II:
LIT: 780
MATH I: 700

ACADEMIC:
Class Rank: 25/247
UW GPA: 3.51

AP:
BIO: 4
ENGLISH (rhetoric): 5
US HISTORY: 3

4 More APS this year: EURO, LIT, FRENCH, AB CALC

EC:
Strong service: 3 week-long service trips, good general community and school service

And, my brother just graduated ND in '08 with a 3.02 and has a very good job right now, if that helps.

oh, so close to top 10%... see if you can rectify that. great SATs- traditional schools like ND value that. Run of the mill APs. ECs seem a bit vague. Decent chances. Also depends on stuff like race, gender, etc, but I think you have a good shot.

I got an overal 86 percentile on the ssats and my gpa is a 3.75 and im in all honors and only in 9th grade and my interviews went excellent do you think i have a good chance at making choate, deerfield, and hotchkiss?

Your test scores look fine to me, though I'd have to agree about the ECs. There's not much you can do in your senior year to help with extracurriculars, but if you've been involved in some more specific things during the school year that you haven't listed I would say you have a decent chance. Of course, admission is always up in the air so you'll just have to wait and see. Good luck to you!

From what I have seen after compulsively reading through the rest of them, you look like you are on track. Could you help me out by chancing me, it would be greatly appreciated. Good luck!

That has to be a joke...you are DEFINITELY in! A 1530 on the SAT (yeah, writing isn't really looked at much) is ridiculous. You'll fit in great at ND...all you have to do is stay out of trouble and wait for that big envelope in the mail. Good luck!!
