Chances...

I was feeling pretty confident until my physics subject test score came in...

GPA: 3.78 (I have close to a 4.0 this semester though. Also I go to a competitive private school)

Currently I'm taking AP Physics, Biology Honors, AP Calculus BC. Have also taken AP computer science. All math classes and science classes have been honors level.

SAT I:
Math: 730
Reading: 680
Writing: 690

SAT II:
Math II: 720
Physics: 630

Extracuriculars are solid. Some highlights are:
-Internship at Intel
-FIRST Robotics leader/member
-Varsity Track and Field
-participated in Medical research with doctors at a medical school
-various science classes and camps including nanotechnology/solar energy,
-extensive volunteer time at children's hospital. (total volunteer time around 200 hours)
-There are more specifics which are on my application but these are the main ones.

Strong essays

I have interviewed with them and I think that went well

My physics score didn't come out as I hoped and I'm scared that will bring down the rest of my application. Your thoughts?

are you in TX?
Edit: Never mind; yeah you have a really good shot since your from Oregon!

Why is that? Are they looking for people from Oregon or The Northwest specifically?

what school are you applying to? engineering might be tough to get into...

I'm applying to the school of engineering...

for any other school besides music, architecture, and maybe natural sciences you're in. you're competitive for engineering, but your SAT is a little low and both SAT II scores are low. your ecs are good though so hopefully that will get you in.

Thanks for the input. As long as I still have a legitimate shot at getting in I'm happy.
