what are my chances in JHU? Should i go ed or will i have a good chance rd?
Expected SAT1 of 2300-2400, SAT 2: 700-800 for each subject
GPA: 4.0 unweighted
rank: top 10-20%
Karate for 2 years
Learning violin for 7 years (if that counts as EC)
Anime Society for 3 years, Leader for 2 years
Computer club for 5 years
Young Achievers Award Business program, expecting to be Marketing director
Sydneian (school annual book editing commitee) for two years
Seymour Philharmonic chamber orchestra for 2-4 years
possibly School Orchestra (top in the school) for two years
French Exchange program in junior year
Soccer for 3 years
Basketball for 2 years
Debating for 5 years

I don't get what the "expected" SAT means.. but if that's what you get, then I'd say it's certainly looking good. If it's your first choice, might be a good idea to go ED to be safe (around 1/2 of the ED candidates get in, I've heard, so that's pretty great odds), but not necessarily vital.

I think you have a diverse background with your EC's so that's great. You represent probably what is the typical applicant to Hopkins so I agree with Conchis that ED is the best route if you have your heart set on JHU.
