<p>I was wondering if my credentials are good enough for USMA.</p>
<p>Physical:
I am taking the CFA at SLS this year but push ups are over 60, sit ups are over 70, mile is somewhere around 6:15, and sprint is probably around 7-8.</p>

<p>Please note: this forum is made up of parents, cadets, grads, and hopeful future cadets. None of us sit on the admission board (OK, there is one guy who does, but am keeping his identity secret!). That being said, your statistics look excellent. They are far better than many who are currently at the academy, and not as good as some who are there. The only issues I can see that might be in your path are 1) how competitive is your area for getting a nomination, and 2) do you have any disqualifying medical conditions? Good luck to you!! <p>I was also wondering where my credentials stand I am a junior:
I have mediocre grades, 3.5-3.6 g.p.a in all honors classes + 3 A.P.s and in Latin and Spanish Honor societies received the scholar athlete award
SAT: 1260 on math and Verbal
-Have lettered in xc, indoor and outdoor track and ran in the state championships
-play the trumpet in the school wind ensemble, concert band marching band and jazz band
am all shoreline region and All-New England on trumpet
-participated extensively in Civil AIr Patrol Received the Billy Mitchell Award and acted as Flight sergeant, first sergeant and flight commander am qualified to lead search and rescue missions
-do volunteer activities with my church</p>
