<p>Ok, i visited templle u, and they said that electives arent used in gpa, but at psu, the lady said all classes were, my jr year classes were math, history, psychology, foods, english, chem, gym, and pep band, gpa came out to 88.
Other 2 year, came out to 82 and 83.</p>
<p>IDK if PSU will be harder since w.out electives, gpa is like 80..</p>

<p>First: Temple may be a bit rough. But, to be honest, I don't know much about Temple, but I think they're tougher to get into than PSU Main Campus, but I'm not sure 100%.</p>
<p>Secondly, on PSU: I'd say if you could get your SATs up a little, especially get another 30 points to break the 1100 mark, your chances are pretty good. Alumni connections are even right on the second page of the application, so they're semi-important and a bonus. Your GPA for all 3 years averaged together may be lower than your junior year's GPA, but there was improvement each year which is a plus. If you apply to start summer session, you should definitely get in, I'd think (okay, nothing's definite, but your odds are improved). I know people who didn't quite have the stats to get into PSU fall sem, but PSU said they could enroll if they agreed to start summer session.</p>
<p>Temple harder to get into that PSU? Not to sound like a jerk but what planet are you from? 950 SAT and 2.7GPA will get you into Temple. 3.5 GPA and 1200 SAT might get you into PSU main campus.</p>
<p>what's your point? Those are averages. I'm not saying temple is a bad school. Temple ambler is in my back yard and the main campus is 10 min from my house and a lot of professors live in my neighborhood. Furthermore, I know a lot about the school and the kids from my high school that went there did not get into PSU.</p>
