Hello everyone, my name is Daniel. I'm a senior in highschool that desires to be a radiologist, and hopes to major in Biochemistry. I really want to enter some of the UC's, such as UCI, UCSD, and UCR.

Please, if you're viewing this, leave your opinion, honestly and thoughtfully. I would really like to know my chances of getting accepted.

AP's
11th--AP US, AP Art History
12th--AP Spanish

AP Spanish is my 5th year learning the language.

Extracurriculars- Vice President of both Filipino and Vietnamese Club at my school, as well as the main dance coordinator for both clubs.

One of my major concerns is how badly a D in my current Advanced Pre-Medical studies class, as well as my C in College Algebra with affect me.

Please, be brutally honest with your opinions, I would really like to read them.
Also, if avaliable, please leave me some tips in which I can improve my chances of admission.

You’ll get into UCR at least, but I’m not thinking too well about UCSD or UCI

Of course, admissions can be highly variable, so you should still apply to them

Be warned though, becoming a doctor in radiology is one of the most difficult career goals that anyone can have. Medical school is bad enough.

But in any case, what I’ve learned so far in college is that what university you get into after high school doesn’t make as much of a difference in the way of your career. What I should say though, is that you definitely have a good chance of becoming a radiologist, but you’ll have to work your butt off once you enter ANY college, so as to get into a good graduate medical school. The stats you have now don’t necessarily indicate that work ethic

Although, it’s better to take AP classes in humanities/arts classes than science classes, because the UC system lets you skip classes in those subjects, but you can’t skip science classes
