Chances?!

I'm currently a high school senior in the International Baccalaureate program. I'm a girl, I was born in France (but I'm not a citizen), I can legally be considered Hispanic and I live in the United States.

Weighted GPA: 4.2
Unweighted: about a 3.8
SAT: 710 CR, 700 M, 710 W
and I still need to take my SAT IIs.

I've been taking AP courses since my freshman year (with the exception to my junior year) and have been enrolled in IB courses for the past two years. My AP scores kind of blow (I got threes on French, human geography and microeconomics and failed everything else) but I got a 7 (highest score possible) on my IB French exam... and have yet to take the rest (but I imagine that my predicted/final scores will be pretty decent).

Apparently McGill doesn't consider extracurriculars, but for the record I was in band for two years, jazz band for one year, have participated in French exchange programs, done community service in libraries and animal shelters and am currently president of the French National Honor Society at my school.

What do you think?

you have a good chance of getting in for sure on just the stats. (don’t send the AP scores in)

In the very unlikely case that your application is deferred, then I’d recommend to fax them or mail them a list of your extracurricular, that can tip the boat in your favor.
